AXIS Rehab

Comprehensive neurorehabilitation program designed for children from 2 years of age and adults.

Indications:

All forms of cerebral palsy
congenital developmental defects of the central nervous system (microcephaly, congenital hydrocephalus, holoprosencephaly, agenesis of the corpus callosum, lissencephaly)
consequences of organic damage to the central nervous system of traumatic (craniocerebral trauma), vascular (cerebrovascular disorders) and infectious (encephalitis of various aetiologies) origin
neurodegenerative diseases of the central nervous system (various types of spinocerebellar ataxia, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Huntington’s chorea, Parkinson’s disease).

Depending on the prevailing symptom complex, emphasis can be placed on reducing spasticity and normalising muscle tone, increasing the range of active and passive movements in the joints of the limbs, strengthening the muscles of the trunk, improving blood circulation, metabolism and tissue trophism, acquiring or restoring motor and speech skills as well as mental skills, forming and developing physiological movement stereotypes and self-care activities in order to achieve the highest possible level of quality of life and social adaptation.



The duration of the course is 2- 8 weeks, a team of professionals works with the patient 5-6 hours a day, 6 days a week.
